    This is rather about officers from the Jimboomba station. A few days ago,after our big flood, I foolishly chose to ignore the "if it's flooded, forget it" line that the cops have been pushing and tried to drive down a flooded road! It didn't look deep and the water was not flowing swiftly, so I thought I would chance it! Bad move! The water got deeper and deeper and just as I was about to give it away and back up, I realized that my little car was floating! I no longer had any traction, or any control over where the car was going. Fortunately the car was rapidly filling with water and it settled at the edge of the road without floating further downstream! Two officers from Jimboomba station turned up with a rope and dragged me up on the bank. They made it plain that driving into standing water was not very bright but they were very professional and good humoured about it! In my own defense, if the water over the road sign had been back at teviot road rather than after I had travelled two kilometers down the road, just fifty meters feet before the actual water, I would never have used the flooded road. Signs are very often placed in silly places! I ain't never gonna do it again officers! Honest!
